Privacy Policy

Senzora is built on a simple principle: your perception data belongs to you. We collect only what is necessary to run the app, we never sell your data, and we never show you ads.

1. Who We Are

Senzora ("we", "us", "our") operates the Senzora mobile application and the senzora.app website. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at support@senzora.app.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the following, and nothing more:

Session data: target ID, confidence score, perception archetype, and timestamp. Stored locally on your device and anonymously in our cloud database (Google Firebase). No personally identifiable information is attached to session records in the cloud.
Demographic data: country, age group, and sex — provided voluntarily by you at the start of each session. Used only for anonymous aggregate analytics (global leaderboards and perception pattern research). Never linked to your identity.
Email address: collected only if you purchase a Premium subscription or voluntarily sign up for remote viewing session invitations. Stored securely and separately from session data. Never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
Payment data: processed entirely by PayPal or NOWPayments. Senzora never sees, stores, or processes card numbers or wallet credentials.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide, operate, and improve the Senzora app experience
To generate anonymous global analytics and leaderboards
To manage and communicate with Premium subscribers about their subscription
To invite opted-in viewers to paid remote viewing sessions and experiments
To conduct anonymous perception pattern research across demographics

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose not listed above.

4. Data Storage and Security

Session data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage and anonymously in Google Firebase Firestore (EU region servers). Anonymous session records contain no name, email, or device identifier.

Email addresses are stored separately in a secure environment and are never combined with anonymous session data in any way that would make sessions identifiable.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate personal data
Right to erasure: request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restriction: request that we limit how we use your data
Right to data portability: request your data in a portable format
Right to object: object to certain types of processing
Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@senzora.app. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

6. Data Retention

Local session data is retained on your device until you clear it (via the app's Options screen) or uninstall the app. Anonymous cloud session records are retained indefinitely for research purposes. Email addresses of Premium subscribers are retained while the subscription is active and for up to 12 months after expiry, unless you request earlier deletion.

7. Cookies

The senzora.app website does not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required. Basic browser session functionality may use cookies inherent to your browser — these are not set by us.

8. Third-Party Services

Senzora uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase / Firestore: cloud database infrastructure — Firebase Privacy

NOWPayments: cryptocurrency payment processing — NOWPayments Privacy Policy
YouTube: embedded video content — Google Privacy Policy

9. Children's Privacy

Senzora is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@senzora.app and we will delete that information promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Anonymous session data is stored on Google Firebase servers located in the European Union. If you use Senzora from outside the EU, your anonymous session data may be transferred to EU servers. No personally identifiable data is transferred internationally without your explicit consent.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, Premium subscribers will be notified by email. Continued use of Senzora after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
